World Friendship Day. An Elevenses Special – Webinar

World Friendship Day – Webinar

What will you do today to increase social support for you and your colleagues?

International Day of Friendship is on the 30th of July. It was established as a day to celebrate the connections between people and the building of bridges and finding common ground. The UN created this day to remind us that there is good in the world and that despite differences we need to find out common ground, promoting kindness and togetherness.

At Working To Wellbeing, we have opted to focus this year on friendships and social support in the office. We know that great friendships are forged at work and people often find their life partner in the workplace. We spend more time with the people at work than we do with our families and as such we suggest paying homage to our friends at work. In the build-up to the day we will be hosting an 11’s style webinar that puts a spotlight on the vital role of social support in the workplace and how we can all work to increase our support for each other, look out for each other and in some cases make friends for life.

We look forward to discussing ‘what will you do today to increase social support for you and your colleagues?’ To find out more and register go here.
