Case Study: Russell’s Return To Work Journey

In July 2023, Russell left work to have an operation to remove a colorectal tumour. This was followed by four months of chemotherapy.

 

Russell was referred to W2W through his employer’s Group Income Protection policy, in October 2023, to provide Vocational Rehabilitation Coaching to enable Russell to begin his return to work journey.

 

In the video case study, Russell talks about regular sessions with his Vocational Rehabilitation Coach, goal setting, returning to work earlier than anticipated and how retirement was not an option for him despite his age.
